Indian model gets an optional driver-side airbag.

Pioneer MotoCorp, Datsun’s authorized distributor in Nepal, will launch the Datsun Go+ in the first week of April, the company’s senior manager told eKantipur. Even the top-end variant of the Go+ will cost less than NPR 2.5 million (INR 15.6 lakhs), the official said.

Datsun Go+ side Review
The Go+ is based on the Go hatchback which was launched in India last year.

Launched in India last month, the Go+ is the second product for the Nissan-owned low-cost car maker in India. In the Indian market, the Go+ is priced from INR 3.79 lakhs to INR 4.61 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.

Being a sub-4 meter three-row 5+2 seater, the Go+ has no direct rivals, just as yet. However, on price, the Go+ competes with the likes of the Maruti Wagon R and Hyundai i10.

Power comes from a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine capable of 68 PS at 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The gearbox is a 5-speed manual, and Datsun claims a fuel efficiency of 20.62 km/l.
