Astra Daihatsu Motor has launched the 2015 Daihatsu Sirion in Indonesia between 155.825 million Indonesian rupiah (INR 7.61 lakhs) and 166.820 million Rp (INR 8.15 lakhs).
The vehicle, a rebadged Perodua Myvi Advance, will be available in two trims: Standard and Deluxe.
Powered by a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder VVT-i engine that makes 90 PS and 117 Nm of torque, transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. The new Sirion is 3,690 mm long, 1,665 mm wide, and 1,545 mm tall, with a 2,440 mm long wheelbase, and tips the scales at 1,315 kg (total weight).
As seen in previous spyshots, the vehicle gets a body kit and 14-inch alloy wheels straight from the Myvi Advance, although there’s a lighter shade of paint used for the latter. On the inside, the Sirion gets a 2-DIN audio system, a multifunction steering wheel, and dual front airbags.
The Sirion is available in four colour choices: blue orange, silver, and white.
