Tata Xenon gets attractive year-end discounts in Australia: IAB Report

If you happen to be in the Australian market, looking for a pick-up like the Tata Xenon, then you could be in the right place at the right time. The Tata Xenon pick-up is available at discounted prices only for the rest of December.
Fusion Automotive, the authorized distributor of the brand, is offering the Xenon at $16,990 onward. The company is now focussing on the 2015 line up of its products, and is hence giving the prospective customers the chance to buy products at lower prices.
The Xenon range starts with the single-cab 4×2 version at a drive-away price of $16,990 (equivalent to INR 8.74 lakhs) and goes up till $23,990 (INR 12.34 lakhs) for the 4×4 Dual Cab version. To compare, the 2015 version goes at $22,990 (INR 11.83 lakhs) and $28,990 (INR 14.92 lakhs) respectively, drive-away.
All models are powered by a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine that makes 148 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque, and come with a 5-speed gearbox. And the vehicle is covered by Tata’s four-year factory warranty and roadside assistance. The towing capacity is at 2.5-tonne and the local fuel economy is rated at 13.51 km/l.
The Xenon, which recently was awarded a 4-star safety rating from Australian NCAP, has seen its price slashed twice before the current discount already. As for the equipment list, the vehicle offers dual airbags, power windows, keyless entry, Bluetooth and USB connectivity for the audio system, 16-inch alloys, and body coloured bumpers. The Dual cab models get satellite navigation and reversing camera, too.
