The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR offers a dual tone paint scheme and an updated 798 cc inline triple-cylinder motor which now employs six injectors (two per cylinder). As a result, the motor now pumps out 140 PS (138 bhp) at a high 13,100 rpm and 86 Nm of torque at 10,100 rpm. A 6-speed cassette type gearbox harnesses the power.

The naked street fighter is equipped with a MVICS 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) electronics package. Also on offer are EAS 2.0, ABS and an 8-level traction control system.

Holding the motorcycle together is an ALS tubular steel trellis fame with an aluminium plate for high torsional rigidity. The suspension system comprises sturdy 43 mm Marzocchi upside down forks upfront with Diamond Like Carbon Coating and a Sachs monoshock at the rear.

Pirelli Diablo Corsa II tyres of size 120/70-ZR17 (front) and 180/55-ZR17 (rear) are used.

The Brutale Dragster RR is the same motorcycle but with an added exclusivity and old school appeal. The Dragster can be recognized by the classic spoke wheels (the 800 RR sports alloy wheels) with anodized nipples and a machine forged wheel hub with red anodized finish. The red anodized treatment continues to the front fork as well.

Further differentiation comes from the massive 200/50 – ZR 17 rear tyres. Both variants employ a Brembo braking system with twin four-piston caliper discs upfront and a single two-piston caliper disc at the rear. Both are governed by a Bosch dual-channel ABS.
