The new K10 is based on the Alto 800's body, but is styled with new headlights, taillights and bumpers. The interior is in a dual-tone black-and-beige layout, and changes are also expected to the instrument cluster and center console.

The car will be powered by the same 1.0-liter three-cylinder K-Series engine, which on the current K1o outputs 68 PS (67.04 bhp) and 90 Nm of torque. Where the current K10 is solely available with a 5-speed manual transmission, the new K10 will get the option of an automated manual transmission, thus making it the most affordable automatic car in the country.
