Power output is in the vicinity of 300 PS!

The outrageous Kawasaki Ninja H2R Concept made its global premiere at the recently concluded INTERMOT 2014. The supercharged concept which carries the tagline "Built beyond belief", is designed to provide the rider an acceleration that he has never experienced before.

Designed with inputs from the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group (KHI), the litre class track-only concept features razor sharp details and F1 like wings on the carbon fibre front fairing to keep it on the tarmac at serious speeds that it is easily capable of.

Here is a video of the concept being tested on a closed track. The short video also shows the 998 cc in-line four-cylinder engine and the supercharger which makes for a unique sporty sound.

Kawasaki has not announced the performance stats but has revealed that the engineers worked on with a design horsepower target of 300 PS! A civilized (relatively of course) road legal version named Ninja H2 is also planned.

Such a production model would be eying to become the world's most powerful bike by a fair margin.
