The Bolt and Zest are two highly awaited launches this year.

The petrol engine powering the Bolt will be Tata's new 1.2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged Revotron motor. At the time of the unveil earlier this year, Tata stated that the Bolt's 1.2L engine will produce 85 PS of power. However, at a recent press conference, the power output of the Revotron engine was announced as 90 PS. The torque, at 140 Nm, remains the same.

The petrol engine will have three driving modes - Sports, Eco and City. When used, the engine will, according to Tata, deliver more performance in case of Sports, achieve higher efficiency in case of Eco, and offer a mix of both in City.

Tata will launch the Zest, the sub-4 meter sedan version of the Bolt, in the coming weeks, after which the hatchback will come. Expect the Bolt to reach showrooms in September.
