Spied - Lamborghini Huracan gets unloaded in an Indian airport

The Lamborghini Huracan was spotted in an Indian airport (claimed to be Mumbai airport) recently, ahead of its market launch which is announced to take place in September this year.

The Huracan, which made its global premiere at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, was shown to prospective Indian customers in March this year. Lamborghini announced that the official launch will come in September, and that the car would be priced at INR 3.43 crores, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.

The Gallardo successor is built on an all-new lightweight platform mixing carbon fiber and aluminium ensuring it a low kerb weight of 1,422 kg. The supercar is powered by a retuned version of the Gallardo's engine. The 5.2-liter V10, which now gets direct and in-direct injection, makes 610 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque.

The Huracan only needs 3.2 seconds to dart from 0-100 km/h, while 9.9 seconds are needed to then reach 200 km/h. Lamborghini claims the top-speed to be 325 km/h. Under EU driving conditions, the supercar achieves 8 km/l mileage and CO2 emissions of 290 g/km.

Lamborghini India currently has dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
