Spied - Production Hyundai ix25 4WD snapped in China (India-bound)

The production ready Hyundai ix25 mini SUV is getting snapped at regular intervals in China and seen here is the 4WD variant of the car, in what could likely be a mid-level trim (as the ix25 in these images is devoid of a rear wiper).

The Hyundai ix25 is expected to go on sale in China on October 9.

The ix25, which is rumored to go on sale in China on October 9, will be offered in a total of seven variants, with two engine options. Reports say that three of the seven variants would benefit from the AWD system. The system will find its place in both engine options.

The base engine is a 1.6-liter while the more powerful motor is a 2.0-liter unit. Both engines will come paired to 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. In terms of dimensions, the ix25 measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, 1,630 mm in height and 2,590 mm in wheelbase.

Hyundai India will address the compact SUV segment next year with the ix25.
