Honda Cars India have received over 7,000 bookings for the Mobilio.

The Ertiga-rivaling MPV is priced between INR 6.49 - 8.76 lakhs for the petrol variant and between INR 7.89 - 10.86 lakhs for the diesel (prices are ex-Showroom, New Delhi). The Mobilio was launched in three trims - E, S and V - though the diesel gets the added RS trim which enhances the car's visual appeal by the way of a bodykit and projector headlights.

Powering the MPV is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine making 119 PS (117.32 bhp) and 145 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol Mobilio is good for 17.3 km/l. The diesel variant, which is expected to be the volume seller, is powered by the 1.5-liter four-cylinder i-DTEC motor making 100 PS (98.59 bhp) and 200 Nm of torque, again paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The diesel has its economy rated at 24.2 km/l.

Honda announced at the launch that the RS grade of the Mobilio will be available only after September this year.
