The production version graced this year's Auto Expo with changes to the frame, aerodynamics and interiors. The low slung homegrown supercar has been spotted testing by IAB reader Mr. Suresh Bhati. The DC Avanti derives its motive force from a 2.0-litre Ford EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine that is good for 250 bhp and 360 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. DC claims that the Avanti can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds, and on its way to a top speed of 180 km/h. The supercar weighs 1,580 kg and being developed in India, the ground clearance stands at 170 mm.
