The new Focus RS launches in 2016 to take on the Renault Megane RS and the VW Golf R.

The next gen Ford hot-hatch will be powered by the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that is found under the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost variant. It is expected to drive out 330 PS to the front-wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited slip differential. To improve the handling, Ford will equip the car with their innovative RevoKnuckle suspension.

The Focus RS will be launched in 2016 with an expected price tag of around 27,000 GBP (INR 27.58 lakh), and compete against rivals like the upcoming Honda Civic Type R, Renault Megane RS and the Volkswagen Golf R.
