Yamaha have been releasing an array of promotional videos in regular intervals to sustain the buzz around their new sportsbike, the Yamaha YZF-R25.

The latest set of videos show the motorcycle taking shape on the assembly lines of Yamaha's Indonesian facility. The compact sportbike which would be exported to several international markets from Indonesia received an excellent response in the domestic market, so much so that the company has decided to delay the international launch to meet the local demand.
The first video starts with the engine manufacturing process which involves equal contributions from humans and robots. Yamaha says the DiASil (Die cast Aluminium Silicon) cylinder offers 60% better cooling and 30% cheaper production costs compared to the conventional cast steel liner type aluminium cylinders.
The second video shows the R25's testing process which involves a sophisticated, fully automated test rig.

The quarter litre sportbike is powered by a 250 cc parallel-twin liquid cooled engine that generates 36 PS and 22.6 Nm of torque. A six-speed gearbox transmits the power and the motorcycle has a top speed of over 173 km/h.
The Yamaha YZF-R25 slots above the YZF-R15 and has the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the Honda CBR300R as its arch nemeses.
