Skoda calls this concept a "crisp and robust interpretation of the popular compact SUV." The car is defined by its aggressive matte grey exterior with reworked bumpers, reside side skirts and re-bolstered fender flares. The exterior is given yellow and green accents, a dual exhaust layout and 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with off-road tires.

The car's rally-oriented cabin features four Recaro sports seats (complete with four-point harnesses), Alcantara upholstery and a flat-bottom sport steering. Other features worth noting are the carbon fiber door panels, aluminum floor, an exposed spare wheel (first seen on the production Chinese Yeti) and a modified center console fitted with a fire extinguisher, seatbelt cutter and a dock for a mobile tablet.

The Yeti Xtreme is driven by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder TSI motor that churns out 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It is paired to a six-speed DSG (dual clutch gearbox) which puts the power down through an all-wheel drive system. This powertrain gives the Yeti a 0-100 km/h time of 9.0 seconds and a top speed of 192 km/h.
