The Mobilio will go on sale in India in late July, and official bookings for the car (a few dealers may have already commenced unofficial bookings) will start early next month.

Based on the same platform as the Brio, the Mobilio measures 4,386 mm in length, 1,683 mm in width, 1,603 mm in height and 2,650 mm in wheelbase. The car will be positioned between the Maruti Ertiga and the Toyota Innova, though the Ertiga is expected to be the more appropriate rival.

The petrol engine is expected to be the 1.5-liter i-VTEC producing about 119 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque, and the diesel would be the 1.5-liter i-DTEC producing 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque.

Ahead of its launch, Honda are showcasing the Mobilio at populated shopping malls in major cities.
