The system supports voice activated commands and can dial and answer calls, and also allows the driver to change music preferences without the need to reach out to the center console. The AppLink system supports smartphone applications which, in India, include CricInfo and MapMyIndia. The AppLink system was introduced in India this month on the refreshed 2014 Fiesta.

In Brazil, both cars are announced to get a 1.0-liter three-cylinder non-turbocharged engine which is good for 85 hp and 107 Nm of torque. A more powerful 111 hp 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine could also be seen on these cars. The engines are capable of running on gasoline and ethanol.
