The 2016 Ford Endeavour (Ford Everest) was caught on test in China recently. For the first time, spies have managed to snap the interiors of the SUV. The production ready interiors on the new Endeavour are vastly different from the current model, which now looks a bit dated given that it was introduced back in 2006.

The interiors of the 2016 Ford Endeavour are vastly different from the current generation model.

A chunky four-spoke steering wheel is seen alongside a neatly arranged center console which seems to feature controls for the music system and air-conditioning of the car. The center tunnel shows an automatic gearbox, a cubby hole and cup holders. Towards the farther end, the new Endeavour sports vertically-shaped AC vents and a beige trim for the door insert.

The exteriors of the new Endeavour are expected to resemble the Ford Everest Concept, which was described as a near production ready vehicle itself by a Ford insider. Engine options are expected to be carried over from the current generation model, which is offered with 2.5- and 3.0-liter diesel engines in India.

The new Endeavour would have its debut next year at one of the Asian motor shows, and an Indian launch is expected sometime in the second half of 2015. The new Endeavour in India, like the current model, will be assembled from CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits shipped out of Thailand. The assembly will take place at Ford India's Chennai plant.
