Royal Enfield is also reported to be developing a new 400 cc engine. It is believed to be based upon the same engine block as the 346 cc engine that now powers the Classic 350 and the Bullet 350.

The new engine should help Royal Enfield cover various engine segments between its 346 cc base engine and its 535 cc engine used on the Continental GT.
