In a bid to increase sales of its slow selling Renault Pulse, the company has updated the interiors of the hatchback. The 2014 Renault Pulse carries interiors similar to that of the refreshed Nissan Micra, which was launched last year.

The 2014 Renault Pulse gets the Micra's piano-black center console.

Changes lie in the center console which now gets a piano-black glossy finish as compared to the beige plastic seen on the previous model year of the car. The black texture extends from the AC vents to the climate control system located beneath. The piano-black center console is available on all trims of the Pulse save for the base RxE Petrol.

Renault has also updated the music system as the car displayed here comes with Bluetooth connectivity (the same system is seen on the refreshed Micra). The USB and Aux-in ports are relocated near the glovebox. Also note that the seat fabrics sport a mild makeover. Though this Pulse is the top-end RxZ variant with dual airbags, it misses out on steering mounted audio controls.

No changes given to the exteriors of the car.

On the outside, there are no changes to the Pulse. The larger tires and alloy wheels seen on this car are part of dealer-level accessories.

The Pulse is available with either the 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine or the 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel. Both engines come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
