The major design changes lie in the front fascia of the Fiesta which now gets an Aston Martin-like grille complemented with slimmer headlights and a revised front bumper. The car on test here is not the top-end variant as the wing mirrors and door handles are not painted in the body color.

At the rear, the taillights of the Fiesta have been tweaked to appear a bit wider, while the rear bumper gets reflectors and a chrome strip. Inside, the center console now sports a black finish as compared to the silver finish of the pre-facelifted model. The central screen gets Ford's AppLink system which allows for voice-activated commands for smartphone applications.

Other feature additions include an emergency assist system (which dials emergency services in the event of an accident), and driver knee airbag in addition to dual front airbags.

Ford India's website lists only the (1.5L) diesel engine for the Fiesta facelift, that should launch in a short while.

The current Fiesta is Ford India's least performing model. Dealers of Ford India have not managed to sell a single unit of the sedan this year (January to April period) and registered the sale of 1 unit in the last three months of 2013.
