Report - New Honda CBR150R with split headlamps on its way

Reports are coming in from Indonesia that a new Honda CBR150R is on the way.

This time, however, TMCblog reports, that the new CBR150R could carry the same tube-frame found in the higher powered CBR250R and CBR300R. The 150 cc bike is already being sold in Indonesia and the rest of South East Asia, and was launched in India in March 2012.

The website has revealed hot stamped parts of what is likely to be the front fairing of the bike. Given the images, it is clear that the bike is getting a refreshed front fascia, with split headlamps for starters.

Another website, Motoblast, has gone ahead and rendered the new Honda CBR150R, complete with split headlamps and the new front fairing design.

The present Honda CBR150R uses a liquid cooled four-stroke single cylinder 149.4 cc engine to churn out 17.57 bhp at 10,500 rpm and peak torque of 12.66 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Weighing 138 kg, the bike measures 2,000 mm in length, 825 mm in width and 1,120 mm in height, getting a wheelbase of 1,305 mm and ground clearance of 190 mm. It sports a telescopic suspension up front and a mono-shock suspension at the rear.
