Renault, who took full advantage of the SUV fever in India by acting first with the Duster's launch, has announced a new variant to fill up a void in the lineup.

The Duster RxL Plus variant on the 85 PS trim introduced this month (seated between the RxL and RxL Option), adds airbags, ABS, EBD and Brake Assist to the RxL variant. Rest of the equipment such as foglamps, engine immobilizer, power windows, tilt steering, 2-DIN audio system and reading lamps are common to both variants.

The mechanical kit on both variants are untouched - power is derived from a 85 PS 1.5L diesel engine that delivers 200 Nm of torque.

While the 85 PS Duster RxL is priced at Rs 9,90,000, the 85 PS Duster RxL Plus costs Rs 10,60,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
