Essentially the fully-faired version of the Duke 390, the RC390, along with its siblings RC125 and RC200, was unveiled at the International Motorcycle Exhibition (EICMA 2013) which took place in Italy in November last year.

The RC390 is powered by the same 375cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the Duke 390. This motor produces 45 PS and 35 Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Speaking to Indian Autos Blog at KTM's first-ever track day in India (held at the MMSC in Chennai yesterday), Gaurav Rathore, Head of Sales, KTM India, said that the RC200 and RC390 will be launched in the "early half of the next financial year". KTM India has already listed these bikes on their website with a "coming soon" status.

Mr. Rathore indicated that in international markets, RC versions are priced about 15-20 percent more than their corresponding naked siblings. He did not however, put a price estimate for these variants in India.

The RC200 and the RC390 will be made at Bajaj's plant in Chakan, Maharashtra.
