The refershed Superb gets Skoda's updated family grille with a set of redesigned headlights which incorporate LED daytime running lights. Towards the rear of the luxury sedan, Skoda designers have relocated the registration plate enclosure on the bootlid (earlier seen on the bumper). The updated Superb gets newly designed LED taillights as well. Coming to the interiors, the Superb gets a new three-spoke steering wheel with Skoda's new typeface.

The powertrain and gearbox options are carried over from the predecessor. Skoda offers a 1.8-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine on the Superb.

The petrol motor produces 160 PS between 4,500-6,200 rpm and churns out 250 Nm of torque between 1,500-4,500 rpm. It is paired to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

The diesel engine is capable of 140 PS at 4,200 rpm and 320 Nm of torque between 1,750-2,500 rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed DSG transmission. The four-wheel drive 3.6-liter V6 model was discontinued earlier on, and will not make a re-entry on the refershed Superb.

Apart from the Superb facelift, Skoda has scheduled the launch of the Yeti facelift for the second half of this year.
