Here's a complete walkaround video of the new Honda City diesel, covering the exterior and interior from its unveiling in New Delhi last month.

We will publish the car's specifications, a video clipping and a first drive report tomorrow when the embargo on the media drive program expires. The launch of the car will be conducted next month.

It's the first time the City has been equipped with a diesel engine, and it has also been confirmed that the City diesel will get a six-speed manual gearbox.

The new City retains the 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine. Whilst the previous engine produced 118 bhp, the new engine has been improved. The City diesel gets the same 1.5-liter EarthDreams engine as on the Amaze sedan.

The VX variant showcased at the launch was stuffed to the hilt with electronics. It gets a 5-inch info display screen, USB port, aux outlet, engine stop-start button, rear air-conditioner vents, bluetooth, cruise control, 8-speaker audio system and sunroof.

On the outside, the new City is an evolution of the older model, but does not share common panels or parts. The front features familiar headlamps and a new front grille that gets more chrome than the previous model. The lovely character lines down the side have been retained. The rear lights too have undergone a makeover, with another chrome belt giving it a premium feel.
