Expect the refreshed Fiat Linea to launch at the Auto Expo in February 2014.

The company had shown no signs of launching the refreshed Linea this year, but instead introduced a cut-price, entry-level variant of the sedan dubbed 'Linea Classic'.

Speaking about the exteriors, the Linea facelift gets a new grille, a redesigned front bumper with chrome highlights for the air dams and re-profiled headlights. Designers have carried out further changes at the rear, where the registration plate enclosure is  on the bootlid instead of the bumper.

Fiat Linea facelift side profile
The Linea facelift launched in Europe last year. Changes are only cosmetic.

While the rear bumper gets a thick chrome strip to mask the absence of the number plate, the bootlid is redesigned with a chrome highlight with 'Linea' engraved on it. Interior changes include a new center console with a redesigned dashboard and instrument cluster.

The Linea facelift will be available with petrol and diesel options. While the petrol variants could source their power from the 1.4-liter T-JET (turbocharged) motor, Fiat could introduce their 1.6-liter MultiJet engine on the diesel variants.
