Our friends at CarToq have published the first images of the 2014 Tata Vista wearing limited camouflage. This is first thorough cosmetic change for the Vista since its introduction 5.5 years ago, whereas its NVH, features and interior have been revised multiple times.

Slight hint of the Manza Hybrid Concept seen on the front end of the Tata Falcon project.

The vehicle, reportedly codenamed 'Falcon', has undergone a complete reskinning process and features a very smart front-end that is decked with projector headlights. The design of the rear is revamped with the vertically stacked taillights replaced by conventional, horizontal-type arrangement, and the registration plate gets moved to the bootlid.

We are tipped off by sources that Tata has made some changes to the car's dashboard. The current engine lineup is likely to stay back on the MY 2014, and perhaps the ultra-frugal 1.4L CR4 engine from the Indica eV2 could join the Vista lineup to boost its fuel efficiency credentials. Improvements to the vehicle's NVH and ride quality, as seen on the Indigo eCS facelift, could be borne by the new Vista as well.

Tata has been working on the Vista facelift for at least a year, and according to reports, will relaunch the car as a new brand.

Tata is also preparing a sub-4m sedan variant on the Vista platform, and both cars are expected to be seen for the first time at the 2014 Auto Expo in Noida coming February.
