The 2014 Tata Vista facelift will see a completely new design for its taillights.

To recap, the front of the new Vista will see redesigned headlights, an all-new bumper with triangular airdams, and a new grille inspired by the Manza Hybrid concept. Towards the rear, the 2014 Vista will ditch its christmas-tree taillights, and Tata could cluster the lights below the rear windscreen.

In the current Vista, the rear registration plate enclosure is seen on the bumper and based on spyshots we have reason to believe that Tata would reposition it on the bootlid.

The refreshed Vista is believed to be named 'Falcon 4'.

A report from last week suggests that the Vista facelift project has been named 'Falcon 4', and that the bulk of the redesign was done at Tata's European design center.

Under the hood, the refreshed Vista/Falcon 4 is expected to retain its powertrain package. The BS4 complying diesel variants are powered by Fiat’s 1.3-liter MultiJet engine and are available in two states of tunes of 75 PS and 90 PS. A BS3-spec 1.4-liter TDI engine is also available, and Tata could add its modern BS4 certified 1.4-liter CR4 diesel engine to the existing engine options.

Expect to see the 2014 Vista at the upcoming Auto Expo.

Tata currently offers a single petrol variant powered by a 1.2-liter engine producing 65 PS and 96 Nm of torque, and the report suggests that this engine could be retuned for better power and efficiency.

The refreshed Vista/Falcon 4 is certain to make its appearance at the 2014 Auto Expo in February.
