Only 100 units of the Mercedes SLK 200 Radar Safety Edition will be made.

The SLK Radar Safety Edition will be available only in a single 'Polar White' exterior color. The upside is that Mercedes have included their AMG Sport package on this edition. Which means that you get a panoramic sun roof, a more sportier looking front bumper, differently designed side skirts and 18-inch AMG alloy wheels.

The interiors see 'Bengal Red' Nappa leather seats combined with a solar red ambient lighting. To do some justice to its name, Mercedes will also offer their Radar Safety Package on this edition. Safety features such as DISTRONIC PLUS, BRAKE ASSIST PLUS, Blind Spot Assist and Lane maintaining assist have now been included as a result.

In India, we see Mercedes offer only the SLK 350, which is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine developing 306hp and 370Nm of torque. The current SLK is in its third generation and was introduced exactly two years ago at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. A refreshed model should be arriving next year.
