The CBR300R will be powered by a single-cylinder, 286cc engine capable of outputting 30.44 hp at 8,500 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. While there is no official confirmation on this, the engine used here could be derived from the CBR250R's power plant given that the bore diameters of 76 mm are the same, with only the stoke length varying at 63 mm for the 300R and 55 mm for the 250R.

For reference purposes, the CBR250R produces 26.13 hp and 22.9 Nm of torque. Though the transmission details of the 300R are not seen in this image, it should get a 6-speed gearbox.
