The 2014 Tata Vista facelift has been spied yet again. These images come courtesy of Fly Wheel's reader, Mr. Akshay, who spotted this prototype in Pune, Maharashtra.

2014 Tata Vista taillight
The 2014 Tata Vista will get a taillight design we haven't seen before in Tata hatchbacks.

The image above confirms that the Vista facelift will not sport the traditional christmas-tree like taillight cluster. Instead, the lights are clustered below the rear windshield and we can also notice the positioning of the reverse light and the brake light in this picture.

What remains unknown though is how Tata would utilize the space on the upper half of the rear, which currently houses the brake lights of the car. We are also aware that the bootlid will be redesigned given that it will house the registration plate enclosure, which is currently placed on the rear bumper.

At least in this test mule, the interiors seem to be the same as that of the current model.

We can also see a bit of the interiors in the second picture and the overall design of the dashboard, center console, the aircon vents and the positioning of the instrument cluster seem to be the same as that of the current Vista.

Meanwhile, the front of the refreshed Vista would sport a new grille inspired by the Manza Hybrid concept, while the headlights would be mildly redesigned.

The registration plate enclosure will move up from the bumper to the bootlid.

Coming to the engines, we are not expecting any changes here. The Fiat-sourced 1.3-liter MultiJet diesel will continue offering either 75 PS or 90 PS depending on the variant you choose. The 1.4-liter TDI BS3 compliant engine is expected to continue, while Tata could also add the 1.4-liter CR4 engine to the existing lineup. The petrol Vista will continue to be powered by a 1.2-liter 65 PS engine.

We expect Tata to show us the refreshed Vista at the 2014 Auto Expo in February.
