The 2014 BMW M3 and the all-new BMW M4 are set for a debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January next year. Bimmerpost.com has acquired the dealer order guide of the two cars and here are a few details we gather.

BMW M4 and M3 front
The new BMW M3 and M4 will have their world debuts at the Detroit Motor Show.

The M3 and M4 will be available in the following color choices - Alpine White, Mineral Grey Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Sakhir Orange Metallic, Silverstone Metallic, Austin Yellow Metallic, Mineral White Metallic and Yas Marina Blue Metallic.

The interiors will offer leather seats as standard, though a full Merino leather trim can be specced as an option.

Coming to the features, the M3 and M4 can be specified with active blind spot detection, lane departure warning, side and top-view cameras, full LED lights, heated steering wheel, rear view camera, head up display and satellite radio with a 1 year subscription.

New BMW M3/M4 Engine
This is the new BMW M3/M4's high-revving in-line six-cylinder engine.

Performance upgrades come in the form of carbon ceramic brakes, active M suspension, double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic, carbon-fiber roof and 19-inch alloy wheels with performance tires.

The M3 and M4 will be powered by a newly developed “high-revving” in-line six-cylinder engine with the BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology. BMW says that this engine produces 430 hp and 500 Nm of torque, though the acceleration and top-speed claims haven't been made yet.
