While the Hyundai Grand i10 went on sale in India on September 3rd, the European 2014 Hyundai i10 had its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10th.

Indian Autos Blog brought you live images from the Indian launch and the European unveil. And thanks to Hyundai's product manager, Francisco-Javier Garcia, here's a video walkaround of the Euro i10 with commentary.

As Mr. Garcia explains, the Euro i10 has been "developed in Europe, designed in Europe and produced for Europe". While the Euro i10 and the Grand i10 may appear identical, the Grand i10 is not only longer than the Euro model, but also sports a more conventional design for the rear doors and windows.

In Mr. Garcia's words, "the belt-line of the window increases towards the rear of the car" for a more "dynamic appearance". The Euro model also gets daytime running lights in its foglight enclosure, much like the i20.

Moving inside, the European i10's interiors can be specced from four different color options. Also, the Euro i10 has adjustable front headrests while the Grand i10 comes with fixed units. But the Grand i10 scores a brownie point thanks to its segment-first rear aircon vents, which is not available even as an optional feature on the Euro i10.
