The 2014 Hyundai Elantra (2014 Hyundai Avante) was spied recently, ahead of its launch in South Korea. The 2014 Elantra, as you can see from these images, looks exactly like the current car on sale. You will have to pay careful attention to differentiate the updated Elantra from the current model.

As we showed you in the official teaser image released by the company, there will be a few minor cosmetic changes on the updated Elantra. The headlight cluster is likely to house a daytime running light element. Another change we noticed is that the foglamps have grown in size. The L-Shaped foglights of the updated Elantra seems to resemble that of the Verna's unit. And thanks to this change, we notice that the bumper has also been altered with a new crease enclosing the foglights.

The black lower frame of the bumper is the immediate giveaway that this is a facelifted Elantra.

At the rear, the taillights are rumored to feature LEDs in some places. While the overall design of the taillight seems to remain the same, Hyundai has mildly tweaked their detailing. We should be able to see this once the car is launched. Also, the rear bumper now gets a black colored lower frame.
