The refreshed Innova incorporates various cosmetic upgrades on the front fascia such as a bolder all-chrome grille, redesigned front bumper and chrome garnish, while a revised bumper and extended stop lights are seen at the rear.

In the cabin, the 2013 Toyota Innova gets a new audio system in the high-end variant besides the addition of front dual airbags as standard equipment across all the variants.

All variants get dual airbags now. The only change to the interior is a new audio system.

No changes to the mechanicals have been reported and the new Innova will house the same 2.0L petrol unit that drives out 136hp @ 5,600 rpm and 183Nm of torque @ 4,000rpm. Also on sale is the 2.5L diesel engine which churns out 102hp @ 3,600rpm and a maximum torque of 200Nm.

Having brought updates with respect to the exterior and safety aspects, the Indonesian arm of the Japanese car maker, PT Toyota Astra has indeed increased the prices of the new Innova facelift.

The top-of-the-line Innova V manual version gets a price tag of 297.1 million Indonesia Rupiah which is about INR 17.63 lakh whereas the auto gearbox variant costs 310.6 million (INR 18.43 lakh). The mid-variant petrol-powered Innova is priced at 287.557 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 17.06 lakh) for the manual version while the auto transmission variant costs 301.050 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 17.87 lakh).
