The engine will be also available in a GreenTec variant which emits just 104 g/km of CO2 while delivering a fuel economy of 25.64 kpl, thanks to fuel saving measures and Start/Stop mechanism. The current engine lineup which includes a range of TSI petrols and TDI diesels will be carried forward.

There will be four decorative trim options - Graphite-Metallic, Silver Brushed, Piano White and Piano Black. The music system controls and layout will be modified depending on the variants.

The rest of the car is expected to stay the same. The Rapid was the first Skoda to get the brand's new corporate identity and that means there is nothing to change on the car's sheet metal parts.
