June 4, 2009 - Audi launches the Q5 in India - the model goes on to become its segment leader and TKM introduces the Toyota Corolla Altis Sport limited edition, restricting availability to 300 examples.

June 4, 2010 - An IAB reader spots the VW Golf with red plates in India and we're certain its on a global testing trail. The Mahindra Quanto is spotted testing for the first time. It would take Mahindra almost 2.5 years from then on to launch the product.

June 4, 2011 - We squash rumours of Renault' Sandero or Clio heading to India, as many count them as probables for Renault's small car launch announced for the summer of 2012 (Pulse). We learn that the Tata Vista facelift is arriving by Diwali and the Chevrolet Tavera BS4 is a late 2011 launch (eventually comes in March 2012)

June 4, 2012 - Toyota Corolla Aero Edition spotted in dealer yards, Volvo V40 Cross Country is spied fully undisguised in Europe and Audi launches the S4 in India.
