The report states that the new Suzuki SX4, based off the S-Cross Concept, meets production lines in China in late 2013. About a year later, the sedan version will follow these footsteps. The website does not mention if the Authentics Concept previews the new SX4 sedan though it is highly likely that its the car in question.

Suzuki hasn't revealed the ambitions or motives of the Authentics Concept. It explains it as being a concept to a C-Segment car, a market segment which holds the most buyers in China. "Sporty x Elegant", "long wheelbase" and "low overall height" are the product attributes as explained by Suzuki.

The production Authentics would feature a significantly different interior. AutoHome predicts that the engine bay would be occupied by a 1.6L gasoline engine and an unspecified diesel engine paired to a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
