The supercar brings a plethora of racebred technologies into a road car package. The V12 Vantage S is powered by a new AM28 6.0 litre V12 engine which packs in a massive 573PS of power and a phenomenal torque of 620Nm (50Nm more than the previous V12 Vantage). The engine benefits from race derived features like CNC machined combustion chamber and hollow camshafts.

Just like any other Aston Martin, the new V12 Vantage RS is a stunner.

The gearbox is a new hydraulically actuated Sportshift III AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) which is lighter than the previous car's manual gearbox by a good 25kg. The V12 motor employs Bosch's engine management and is capable of hurtling the supercar as fast as 205 mph (328 kph). However, Aston Martin haven't released the 0-100 kph acceleration time.

The driver can change the car's behavior by shuffling through three drive modes namely Normal, Sport and Track. The engine mapping, steering response and the gear shift pattern change accordingly.

As far as the looks are concerned, the V12 Vantage S retains the compact yet powerful stance of its predecessor. The aluminum slats in the front grill have been replaced by carbon fibre elements to increase the air flow to the V12 motor, just like the CC100 concept that was unveiled a few days ago.
