The change is reflected on the firm's new design language. And we know that Ssangyong is dishing out a design study concept every now and then.

Here is an official video of the Ssangyong SIV-1 Concept which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last month. The video explains us the "Nature Born 3 Motion" design philosophy that is used for the exterior design.

The  company says that the 3 motions are "dignified motion", "dynamic motion" and "rhythmical motion". The SIV-1's design clubs all the three.

The compact crossover SUV has a solid stance thanks to its high waistline and a tight fitting roof. The front fascia previews the future design direction of the Ssangyong products. Hexagonal grill stays connected to the smart looking headlamp units.

The rear fascia also looks neat with triangular taillights that are stretched back towards the fenders. The accentuated curve above the rear wheel arches enhances the design flair and the presence of the SIV-1.

While the exterior styling is contemporary the interior is futuristic with its "3S Cube" design language. The digital instrument console with red illumination catches the eyes immediately. The center console tapers forward and has a high mounted touchscreen display for the multimedia infotainment system.

Ssangyong hasn't revealed the technical information of the car and also hasn't commented on the possibility of its production version. However, we think the SIV-1 Concept looks promising enough to give birth to a production model.
