Honda has confirmed the launch of this model in April, and dealerships are receiving cars for display and initial deliveries. Our first drive report will be aired today with a series of updates on the information given by Honda India officials at the product deep dive held in Goa last month.

It is said that over 10,000 units of the Amaze have already been manufactured and stocked at the plant in Greater Noida. Honda has not announced an exact launch date, but we believe that the launch will take place by the third week of April. Honda dealers have started accepting bookings.

These videos should enlighten you with the visual and mechanical differences between the diesel and the petrol model. The Amaze is Honda’s first diesel car for the India, and the engine is a 1.5L Earth Dreams unit that is derived from the 1.6L engine designed for the European markets.
