Limited Edition Maruti Eeco ‘Smiles’ launched

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has just launched a special edition for its affordable people mover, the Eeco. It’s called the Eeco ‘Smiles’ Edition.

The limited edition does not see any mechanical updates. It’s purely a variant which offers a few features (seven features to be precise) for some extra cash.

Here are the seven added features you get in the Eeco Smiles:

  1. An ‘Advanced’ Double DIN Music system with USB connectivity 
  2. 15 cm speakers
  3. Dual Tone seat covers
  4. Full wheel covers
  5. Black floor mats
  6. Mud flaps
  7. Some ‘Eeco Smiles’ body decals and graphics

For these added seven features, Maruti will charge you a very reasonable INR 9,490 extra.

Based on what we see from this advertisement here, the Eeco Smiles can be had in either the 5 or 7 seater configurations and a choice of the Petrol or Petrol and CNG variant as well.

While it is a limited edition, Maruti has not mentioned how many units the Smiles edition is limited to.

The Maruti Eeco is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine. Prices for the Eeco start at about INR 3.29 lakhs for the base variant and stretch up to INR 4.42 lakhs for the top end variant which has a factory installed CNG kit as well. These prices are ex-Showroom, Mumbai.
