Nithyanandh K, As a toddler, those wheeled machinery fascinated me even before I knew what they’re called as! So here I'm, petrolhead by birth, Mechanical engineer by qualification and automotive reporter by profession!
The 2014 Mercedes S Class will sum up what Mercedes-Benz is all about.
Most previous generations of the flagship sedan have been the best cars in the world during their respective lifetimes. With every new iteration, the Stuttgart based firm pushes the definition of perfection further and the huge expectations on the latest Sonder Class (sonder in German means special) won't lead to disappointments, judging by these images.
Here are the official images of the 2014 Mercedes Benz S Class' interior. As expected, the German automaker has kept up its pride. The tastefully executed cabin is pure elegance. The fashion in which the smooth flowing lines of the dashboard seamlessly merge with the door panels is a class act.
The dashboard has a fully digital display that runs half the width of the cabin and incorporates the instrument panel and infotainment displays. The center console, swathed in wood and leather, sports four exquisitely finished chrome air con vents and a classic analog clock.
Rear passengers get individual screens and the armrest has controls for all that one would like to adjust to his liking. And the space available in the rear is more than one could ask for.
In a nutshell, the 2014 Mercedes S Class could easily sweep the top spot in the contest for cars with best interior in the world. The luxury liner is all set to debut at Hamburg on May 15th.
The entire automotive fraternity is waiting to check out the industry's new benchmark!
