There was a time when Jaguar used to bring more concept cars to the circuit than production ones. It seems that the mantel has been passed to Ssangyong as we have seen so many XIV (eXciting user Interface Vehicle) concepts in the past.

Ssangyong now wants to introduce new range of concepts under the ‘SIV’ umbrella, first of which is quite unimaginatively named SIV-1. We have no idea what SIV stands and neither has the Korean automaker provided any information on the same.

From the image, we can see that the SIV-1 is not very far from the XIV concepts, may be a little more stylish and aggressive design. We think that it is an evolutionary stage of the XIV concept as they near their production debut.

The image portrays a very stylish crossover with flared fenders, a sloping roofline and a compact greenhouse. It measures 4500mm long, 1880mm wide and 1640mm tall with a wheelbase that is 2700mm wide.

The front fascia features an exquisite set of headlamps with two types of LEDs and then some more LED garnish on the front bumper. The sporty styling is carried till the rear with tailgate-mounted spoiler, a dual exhaust system and angular taillights.

That is all the information that we have so far. Stay tuned for to see more information as it heads for its Geneva debut.
