The Safari Storme's hydroformed ladder on frame chassis improves the off road prowess of what was already a potent off roader. That combined with all new interior makes the Safari Storme all that more appealing.
No wonder then that the SUV already raked up over 6,000 bookings before even being made available PAN India. Here is the TV commercial of the SUV that already started airing on the popular TV channels.
The ad shows the Safari Storme traversing rugged terrain, water trails and on ice, the typical habitats of a true blue off roader. The commercial says "Challenge the Limits" along with the tagline "The Real SUV".
The Safari Storme employs the same 2.2 litre diesel mill as the old Safari, now dubbed as VARICOR. The motor puts out 140 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. The high end version boasts of a shift-on-the-fly four wheel drive system.
The Safari Storme has a starting price of Rs. 9.95 lakhs (ex-showroom Chennai).
