Even though Jeep hasn't mentioned the name of the model teased, we now know from the previous spyshots that it is indeed the facelifted Grand Cherokee.

The facelifted Jeep Grand Cherokee gets a new sleeker headlamp clusters similar to those of the new Chrysler 300 and sport Rolls Royce Ghost. The headlamp shape has a kink in the lower part and it appears that its silhouette is illuminated by daytime LED lamps.

The grill sports seven vertical slots like the current car with chrome honeycomb background. Apart from the front, the rear fascia is also expected to be benefited from the facelifting operation, especially the tail lamps. The interior is expected to be mildly revised and reportedly will get UConnect multimedia infotainment system.

The Grand Cherokee will continue to use the same set of engines albeit in improved avatars. The 3.4 litre V6 petrol will be offered in the base version while the higher variants will get the 5.4 litre HEMI V8 and the 6.4 litre HEMI V8 SRT. Diesel option will be offered by a 3.0 litre V6 engine.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee along with the Jeep Wrangler will be the first of the Jeep products in India and will be here in the last quarter of 2013. The facelifted Grand Cherokee would've gone on sale globally by that time and we better get can safely expect Jeep to offer us the latest car.
