The next generation of the company's best selling model is all set to roll down the streets of Europe in January and the production of the car has already begun at Skoda's plant in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic.

The Skoda Octavia is expected to enter India by the 2013 Diwali season, probably under the Laura nameplate and will mark the debut of the VW group's MQB platform, which is set to underpin a lot of other cars in the future ranging from Polo, Fabia all the way to Passat and Superb.
