The 2013 Octavia will draw power from petrol engines displacing 1.2 - 1.8 liters and diesel engines displacing 1.6-liters and 2.0-liters. Engines can be availed with a choice of 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
Skoda India is expected to launch the new Octavia next year in India. The car should continue using the CKD route and will be assembled at their plant in Aurangabad. There is no clarity as to what the branding will be, will Skoda bring back the Octavia nameplate with the new model or continue with the Laura?
