Two more pictures of the Honda Brio Amaze have leaked online just hours before the car's official premiere.
The Brio Amaze will be shown for the first time later today in Thailand and shortly thereafter reach dealer showrooms.
Honda will show a variant with a 1.2L petrol engine paired to an automatic transmission to the Thai press. Alongside the petrol, the variant brought to India next year is powered by a 1.5-liter diesel engine, producing around 200Nm of torque.
The Brio Amaze is based on an extended platform of the hatch, with improvements in the wheelbase, rear seat comfort and luggage room helped along by the inclusion of a boot. The car is under four meters long, and hence would have to pay 12% less duties than the City. The Brio Amaze will compete with the Maruti Swift Dzire, India's best selling sedan.
Honda has announced that the Brio Amaze will be sold in India, Thailand and Indonesia. The leaked photograph shows its new brand ambassador posing next to a black example and the second image reveals the five body color options, which in all probability is frozen for the Indian market as well.
Honda India said earlier this month that the launch of the Brio Amaze falls in the next financial year. We expect them to waste no more time and introduce it by the end of April 2013.
