Hyundai Brazil, to keep the tempo rising, has releasing a teaser video of the Hyundai HB20, the Brazilian counterpart of i20. The cars will look completely different as the HB20 is "Fluidic" inspired with more flowing lines than the i20.

A Brazilian presenter from Auto Esporte tried revealing the HB20 recently. If this isn't an advertorial sponsored by Hyundai, we're sure they are not happy campers now.

Hyundai banks on this car to spoil the chances of new launches such as the Palio and Etios in Brazil. The car will travel to other South American countries after its launch in Brazil.

The HB20 is a mix of the Sonata and the i-Gen i20. Reports suggest that it will be offered with front airbags and ABS as options. The car is equipped with a CD player with iPod input and steering wheel controls, hydraulically assisted steering wheel, automatic headlights and parking sensor among other features.

The car comes with two four-cylinder engines that can run on both gasoline and ethanol. The engine capacities are of 1.0L and 1.6L with the power output of 85 hp and 130 hp respectively.

It is expected that the Hyundai HB20 will be officially revealed at the Hall of St. Paul in October. The prices, variants, and exact specifications will be revealed on that occasion.
